Nutan Early life

Nutan Samarth was born on 4th June 1936 in a Marathi Hindu Chandraseniya Kayastha Prabhu family. She was the eldest of four siblings to director-poet Kumarsen Samarth and his actress wife Shobhna. She grew up with some difficulties means considered “skinny” and “ugly” in her childhood days. She had two sisters named ass Tanuja and Chatura who were an actress and a younger brother Jaideep. Her parents get divorced before her brother Jaideep’s birth. She has completed her education at St. Joseph’s Convent School, Panchgani. After that, she moved to Switzerland for further studies in the year 1953.

Biography

Nutan Bahl, better known as Nutan, was a well-known Indian film actress of the previous decade. In a career spanning nearly four decades, she worked in more than 70 Hindi films, many in starring roles accordingly. As one of the good female actors in the history of Indian cinema, she was also selected for playing unconventional parts and her outstanding performances often received praise and accolades from the audience.

In addition, She has honored by the Best Actress award at Filmfare, which was held by her for over 30 years until it was matched by her niece Kajol in the year 2011. In the year 1974, she was also awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India. She started her career at the age of only 14 in the year 1950 movie Hamari Beti, directed by her mother itself. After that, she appeared in some movies such as Nagina and Humlog in the year 1951 specifically.

In the year 1990, She was diagnosed and treated for breast cancer. In the month of February 1991, she was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai due to illness. At the time, she was filming Garajna and Insaniyat. She died at 12:07 p.m. (IST) on 21 February 1991. In the year 2004, Her husband Rajnish Bahlon also died from a fire accident in his apartment.
