Verizon is also committed to a small $ 10 million business support through the nonprofit Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC), focusing on business owners in historically unauthorized communities.
The big concert for Small Business closes at 11 pm. EST can be seen on Twitter, Twitch, YouTube, and Twcott on Yahoo, Fios, @various as well as BET, CBS Sports Network, CMT, MTV2, and MTV Life. IHeart and Serious will also stream the production.
In a statement, Keys said she was excited to partner with Verizon on bringing good music for a meaningful cause. “Small businesses are essential, and we need to do everything we can to keep them alive; our communities cannot recover without them.”
Diego Scott, Verizon CMO: “When we launched Pay It Forward Live, a weekly entertainment series that supported small businesses last March,
We had no idea that the need for help would still become so important after about a year. We performed magic to mobilize the public, collaborating with the entertainment industry and impacting thousands of businesses. We’re doing it again, in an even bigger way, with big concerts for small businesses, helping people after Super Bowl LV brings together small businesses that are the heart of the American economy. “
